General Terms & Conditions
These terms regulate all users of all content of the domain happysocks.com and the subdomains (henceforth: the site). The Terms and Conditions will be valid for all your future transactions with Happy Socks AB (henceforth: Happy Socks; may be referred to as ’us’) and visits to the site.
Happy Socks reserve the right to revise these terms and conditions. The date of the latest update is found in the final section of the Terms and Conditions. Users are responsible for keeping themselves updated with such changes.
Disclaimer
We do not guarantee that all the items available at the Happy Socks web shop are in stock at the time of your order. In the case of incorrect stock balance affecting your order, we will contact you shortly by phone or by e-mail.
Happy Socks cannot warrant that the content of the site is at all time free of inaccuracies or typographical errors. Neither can we guarantee that all information is up-to-date. Happy Socks may at any time change the content of the site.
Though Happy Socks strife to always display the correct texts, images and pricing in the site and web shop, errors can occur. If you have been charged the wrong amount when shopping from the web shop, we will give you the option of placing a new order with the correct price or canceling your order. If we are unable to get in touch with you, your order will be automatically cancelled.
Part of the services mediated through the site are performed and concerned for by outside organizations. In situations where Happy Socks act as agent for such services, we cannot be held responsible for any errors resulting from their activities.
Happy Socks cannot be held responsible for any damaged caused from using the site or for that matter not being able to use the site. Happy Socks cannot guarantee a problem-free uninterrupted and secure access to the site.

Trade Marks
Our trade marks include the Happy Socks name and logo. These trade marks may be used or registered in more than one country and your use of this web site does not grant you any rights to use our trade mark.
Privacy Policy
All personal information saved at the site will be handled with most care. The information that we store will not be sold or used for any purposes other than making sure you get the best service possible. It will solely be used for informing you about special offers and other marketing activities related to Happy Socks. Your personal data may be disclosed to third parties only when it is necessary to fulfill the purposes described above. When registering to the site, you have the option not to receive any information from Happy Socks. If you wish to end your subscription to information from Happy Socks, you may make the changes in your account settings or send an email to info@happysocks.com. State your name and email address and a short description of the matter in the email message.
You have the right to at any time know what information is kept about you in our systems. This information can be requested by sending an email to info@happysocks.com. If the information is incomplete or incorrect, you have the right to have the information corrected or deleted.
All customers paying by card are subject to validation checks. Happy Socks make the reservation to delay any order if we suspect a further security control is needed.
For security reasons, we do not store any payment information in our database.
Security
Happy Socks use Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the industry standard in transferring information to process your orders. Happy Socks web shop uses the Thawte SSL Certificates to offer secure communications by encrypting all data to and from the site. When placing an order, you can immediately check the security validity by clicking the Thawte icon at checkout.
For security reasons, we do not store any payment information in our database.
Cookies
Cookies are usen in the site, in order to improve your experience of the site. The cookie identifies your computer and allows the site to remember your personal settings. Cookies are also used for statistical purposes.
You can set your browser to notify you when a cookie is to be activated. This enables you to reject usage of this cookie or to tell your browser to erase the cookie at the end of your visit. The web shop cannot be used if cookies are disallowed.
Links
The site may contain links to other websites beyond our control. We cannot be held responsible for content or privacy policies of such sites.
Colors
We cannot guarantee that colors in the website are fully equivalent to the items’ actual colors. This depends partly on the color settings of your computer and monitor.
Payment & Prices
We accept card payments by Visa, Eurocard, MasterCard and American Express. The full amount will be charged on the date of the shipment (i.e. when the package is dispatched).
Shipping costs will be added where appliciable. For shipping charges, please view the Happy Socks shipping charge table.
Orders to countries outside USA and EU may be subject to VAT, import duties and/or taxes, which are levied once your package reaches your country. Happy Socks ships your package according to Incoterm Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU), which means we do not collect VAT, duties and/or taxes on orders to countries outside the USA & EU and we cannot predict what your particular charges may be. If you do incur any such additional charges they must be rendered in order for your package to clear customs. Please contact your local customs office for more information. If your country is part of the European Union (EU), prices include Swedish VAT at 25 %.
Exchanges and refunds
During 14 days following the delivery of your order, you may request the exchange or refund of items, which you must return to us in perfect condition accompanied by the original invoice. Returns will only be accepted if labels and original packaging are fully intact. Happy Socks cannot accept returns where labels have been removed.
You are responsible for the shipping of returned items back to Happy Socks. Items lost in transportation will not be compensated for.
Shipping charges on returned merchandise are at the customer's expense. However, Happy Socks will not charge additional shipping on exchanges. Refunds for returned merchandise will be made within two weeks of the return of the product, to the original purchaser’s credit card. Note that additional duties and/or taxes will not be refunded. Neither will shipping costs. For countries within the EU, VAT will be included in the refund.
All exchanges are subject to availability.
Faulty items will be exchanged to the same type of product in the same size, subject to availability. Refunds for faulty items can be made within the 14-day period following delivery.
Exchanges and returns can only be made as described in Happy Socks’s instructions, which can be found in your confirmation e-mail. Items cannot be exchanged or refunded at any stores.
Sale
The policy applies during sales periods, except that Happy Socks will not allow exchanges.
Shipping
All orders are fulfilled at our distribution centers in Maryland, USA or Stockholm, Sweden within 1 business day (subject to card clearance and stock availability, up to 2 days during sale). We operate Monday to Friday and not on public holidays.
When your order is placed we will send you a confirmation of the purchase. Once your package is shipped we will send you an email with final confirmation and instructions on how to track and collect it.

Collecting Orders
All orders are delivered with either UPS, United Postal Service, Swiss Post or Posten. You will get a note in your mailbox when the package is ready for pick up at your local postal center.
Extra duties and charges

Uncollected items
An extra charge of 15 USD, 15 EURO, 150 SEK or 150 NOK will be charged for uncollected items if the package is to be re-sent.
Incorrect contact details
An extra charge of 15 USD, 15 EURO, 150 SEK or 150 NOK will be charged for returned deliveries caused by entering incorrect or insufficient contact details.
Violation of rules
Happy Socks reserves the right to seek all remedies available at law and in equity for violations of these Terms and Conditions, including the right to block access to the site.
Individuals violating the restriction of password protected areas of the site may be subject to prosecution.
Force Majeure
In case of Force Majeur, Happy Socks’s obligations are procrastinated. The contract between you and Happy Socks can in such cases be partially or fully terminated by yourself or by Happy Socks. A Force Majeur is at the event of war, civil war, revolution, riot, governmental measures, strike, lockout, blockage, failure of electricity, telephone or internet service, natural disasters or similar events.
Happy Socks will under such circumstances do all we can to solve the matter for our customers as soon and entirely as possible.
Governing Law
These terms of use are construed in accordance with Swedish law and you agree that the Swedish courts will have exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute under this agreement.
The laws of you country may be different from the laws in Sweden and there may be additional legal requirements for you to use this website. You must comply with all applicable local and international laws and regulations regarding your use of our website.
