We design rainbow-colored styles to help you find your stride so you can always walk with Pride. That’s why we paired up with InterPride, who walk our talk. Donate directly to InterPride or shop our socks. InterPride gets 10% of the profits from every Pride pair sold throughout the year.
The international association for organizers of Pride events around the world. Their member organizations are dedicated to producing Pride parades, marches, festivals, and events for the global Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and other (LGBTQI+) community.
Founded in 1982, InterPride is a not-for-profit organization incorporated in the United States. They represent the global Pride movement of over 1,200 organizations. It’s a membership-based organization with more than 400 active members from over 80 countries.
They partner with other international, regional, and national LGBTQI+ associations and other Human Rights organizations to facilitate social change for LGBTQI+ people around the world. Each year, InterPride, its partners, and its members reach millions of people worldwide through in-person events, mainstream media, and social media.
As an organization representing the global LGBTQI+ Pride movement, InterPride acknowledges that our community is no stranger to the systemic racism against Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, shown starkly through some forms of violence in their daily lives.
Over the last 50 years of the LGBTQI+ movement-building, the violence against Black, Indigenous, and People of Color - especially Black trans women - undeniably demonstrates ongoing structural systems of oppression and racism added to the unjust police brutality, reminding us that our work is far from done.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a devastating impact on Pride organizations worldwide with hundreds of marches and events canceled or postponed. Global Pride was established to provide an opportunity for the LGBTQI+ community around the world to come together to celebrate diversity and equality during these challenging times.
In 2020, more than 111 countries participated in Global Pride, with over 57 million viewers participating in a live 27-hour stream of content representing LGBTQI+ communities worldwide. In 2021, we are thrilled that WorldPride will be taking place in Copenhagen, Denmark and Malmö, Sweden.
